The PRN Veterinary Technician Awards celebrate these remarkable team members who go above and beyond, not just when called upon, but at every moment.

Developed to honor their critical role in animal healthcare, the PRN Veterinary Technician Awards recognize the unwavering dedication, compassion and clinical expertise of vet techs. Often unsung heroes of the clinic, hospital and shelter, vet techs bring commitment and care that change lives.

The program highlights individuals who exemplify “PRN” — Professionalism, Resourcefulness, and Necessity — in their work. Join us in recognizing the outstanding veterinary technicians who elevate our profession.

Use this form to nominate a veterinary technician who touches countless lives, both human and animal. Self-nominations are encouraged.

Award Details:

  • Eligibility: Credentialed veterinary technicians in the animal healthcare industry from within veterinary hospitals, shelters, or industry.
  • Prize: A $500 Visa gift card per winner per event.
  • Winners will be recognized at tradeshows all over the country throughout the year. Be sure to check the web site for more up-to-date information and details surrounding the next announcement! We hope to see you there!
  • Note: Attendance at the show is not required to win. Selected winners will be contacted to confirm attendance if they wish to receive their award in person.
  • Consent: Winners will be asked to consent to the use of their name and submission for public relations-related promotional purposes connected to the awards.
